• Working as an AUV operator using Teledyne Gavia AUVs, responsible for mission planning, data QC, vehicle maintenance and preparation.

• Party Chief | GEOxyz
• As Party Chief at GEOxyz was responsible for overseeing daily operations on the company survey vessels, ensuring safety, efficiency, and accurate data collection during surveys. I manage a team of surveyors and technicians, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain communication with onshore management. My role focuses on delivering precise results while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.

• Continued in the same role as with Modus, but now involved in the Autonomous Seismic Node deployment and IMR department.

• July 2023 - January 2025
• AUV Senior Surveyor | Modus Autonomy Ltd
• Part of the research and development team testing the Saab Sabretooth AUV systems for autonomous and remote operations. The role also included hands on maintenance and repair of the vehicles, networking and sensor integration, equipment and software testing, validation, and operation. As well as office based documentation, procedural and report writing. PXGeo acquired Modus in October 2024.

• Senior Surveyor | Boskalis Subesea Services
• With the change in ownership came a change the type projects I was involved with. Work was being directed by the office in Papendrecht, Holland and was much more construction based. Projects included ploughing for wind farm export cables on the Hornsea Wind Farm, installing piles and topside structures on the Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farm in Taiwan.

• Senior Surveyor/Party Chief | Bibby Offshore/Rever Offshore
• Working on wide variety of projects including ROV based pipeline and structure inspections, MBES & SSS area surveys, environmental sampling programs, light construction, oilfield decommissioning, product lays and diving scopes. All projects have included some degree of mobilisation, from full vessel to individual sensors integration. My roll varied from online surveyor to Party Chief depending on project type. Boskalis acquired Rever Offshore in 2021.

• Senior Surveyor/Party Chief | Osiris Projects
• High resolution bathymetric and geophysical surveys throughout the UK and Europe. Working as part of a small team, typically between 2 and 10 people, on small inshore vessels. Mobilising equipment and running jobs from start to finish.

• Continued in my previous multibeam roll, worked on projects including seabed clearance, construction support, cable lay and trenching and acoustic platform inspections.
  In my final year I worked as part of the GAVIA AUV team, as an operator and processor, where we conducted MBES & SSS area and pipeline surveys.

• Multibeam Survey Engineer | SRD Ltd
• Specialising in the installation, calibration, and operation of high resolution multibeam SONAR, on a variety of vessels and ROVs. As well as processing, reporting and charting the collected data. I worked as a member of a very small survey department, working on large construction support projects, real time dredging and dumping, acoustic pipeline inspection and smaller inshore surveys. In 2009 SRD was acquired by NCS Survey Ltd.
