Hi, I’m Thomas Banks
I am a
18 years of industry experience in all aspects of offshore and inshore survey. The early part of my offshore career was spent working mainly with MBES and SSS, conducting pipeline or area surveys. In later years I have benefitted from exposure to construction based projects, including product lay, piling, structure installations and dive support. More recently working with AUVs, an area I am keen to explore further.
I have experience in mobilising a variety of vessels, long term charters and vessels of opportunity, and underwater vehicles. This has given me an in-depth, working knowledge of a large variety of survey equipment and software. I have also gained robust technical knowledge and am able to demonstrate a high degree of computer literacy and competency in interfacing equipment, networking and fault-finding.
